Terms and Conditions 
 
These Conditions apply to all guests of the hotel.

Check-in To check-in guests are required to provide*:
A VALID IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT - (Passport, Identity Card or Driving License)
A VALID CREDIT / DEBIT CARD - (Visa, MasterCard or American Express)
*The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation to anyone unwilling or unable to provide the above items. *Your credit/debit card will be charged for any incidentals or damages to the hotel property.

Nobody under the age of 18 can book or stay without being accompanied by an adult.

Check-in
Guests may check-in at any time between 15:00 & 21:00 on the day of arrival.
Early/late check-in is subject to a £15 charge

Check-out,
Guests must vacate their rooms and check out by no later than 10:30 am.
Failure to check out before 10:30 am will incur a charge of £15 until 11:30 & then a full nights stay(room only) therein after.

Payment
Credit is required to check in to the hotel and the first night will be taken in full. Guests must pay all outstanding charges on departure. Guests are liable for any damage they cause to the hotel property.

Cancellation
If you cancel within 30 days of making your booking a full refund will be issued.
After 30 days then we will charge for one full night stay 
15 days before arrival the full stay will be charged
 
On the Day cancellation
In case you decide to cancel a booking after the scheduled check-in time or do not show up at the hotel, the complete booking amount shall be deducted.

Mid Stay Cancellations
During your stay, in case you decide to shorten your booking before hotel check-in time, you will be charged for one night. In case you decide to shorten your booking after hotel check-in time, you will be charged for the next two nights. Money for the remaining nights will be refunded.

How to Cancel
You can cancel your booking over the phone or via email at hello@crownhotellangholm.co.uk to cancel your booking. The applicable refund amount will be credited to you within 14 working days. 

Children
Our hotel is unsuitable for children under the age of 9 years old due to its age and layout. 

Pets
All four-legged friends are welcome. There is a £10 charge per dog per stay.

None residents
 All non-residents are asked to leave the premises once the public bar is closed.
None residents are unable to stay in a resident's room after 21:00 and where a non-resident is found on the premises overnight a charge of a full night none refundable single rate will be made.

Food and drink
Absolutely no outside food and drink can be consumed on these premises, a charge of £10 will be made if this is found to be the case. 

Breakfast
Breakfast is available between 08:00 and 09:00 daily. Breakfast is included in our Breakfast rates. For room only and non-refundable there is a charge of £13.95 per head, breakfast will need to be booked before 20:00 the night before with a member of our team. 

Right of Refusal
The hotel reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, is unsuitably dressed or behaves in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.

Disturbance
The hotel reserves the right to require a guest to leave if they are causing a disturbance, annoying other guests or hotel staff, or behaving unacceptably. Hotel Rules Guests shall comply with all reasonable rules and procedures at the hotel, including but not limited to health and safety and security procedures and statutory requirements for registration.

Damage
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by the guest's deliberate, negligent or reckless act to the hotel's property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest's credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. However, we will try to rectify any damage internally before contracting specialists make the repairs. Therefore, we will try to keep any costs the guest would incur to a minimum.

Removal of the hotel property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the total replacement amount of the missing item, including carriage charges. Should the missing item come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to charge to the guest's credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

Losses, Liabilities etc
Guests must report any property loss or damage immediately upon discovery to the hotel. They shall make themselves available to assist with any reports produced by the hotel to the police. The hotel shall not be liable to a guest for any loss or damage to property caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest or an Act of God, or where the guest remains in exclusive charge of the property concerned. The hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this Agreement if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, an act of God, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities, and all similar events outside the hotel's control. Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at the hotel. These Conditions shall be governed by Scottish law, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts

Tampering with fire detection systems and fire fighting equipment
We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered/interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the hotel, including detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the hotel. Depending on the severity of the guest's actions, the Police may become involved at the hotel’s discretion. Should the fact that fire fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest's credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
