Pawsome News From your Pal Boris!
Hey! all you very important Pups (VIP'S), Boris the Newfypoo here - and I run the entire operation! My hoomans here at Crown Hotel Langholm are totally obsessed with us. Like mad-obsessed, and that's a good thing.
Welcome to our humble abode! To ensure everyone has a tail-wagging good time, we’ve established a few ground rules. Please note that we operate on a strict hierarchy here: Canines first, Hoomans second, and Tiny Humans... well, we're working on it.
🐾 The Four-Legged Guests Very Important Pups (VIPs)
Dogs aren't just welcome; they’re the reason we opened the door.
-
Seating: The best spots on the rug (and let's be honest, the sofa) are reserved for those with fur.
-
Compliments: Belly rubs and ear scratches are accepted as valid currency.
-
Barking: We call it "expressive storytelling." Carry on.
We suppose you have to come along to open the cans and provide the transport.
-
Tolerance Policy: We will tolerate your presence provided you remain useful and don't take up too much legroom.
-
Table Manners: Please refrain from eating anything the dog might want. (Which is everything).
-
Cleanup: You are strictly responsible for any "presents" left behind. No exceptions.
While we truly appreciate the high-octane energy and enthusiasm that children bring to the mix, they can be a bit... unpredictable for the permanent residents.
-
The Lead Policy: For the safety of our sanity and the integrity of our shins, children must be kept on a lead at all times.
-
Volume Control: If the dog tilts its head in confusion, the child is being too loud.
-
Interaction: Please ensure your child understands that "sharing is caring" applies to their snacks, but "poking the sleepy dog" is a high-risk activity.
Note: Failure to follow these rules may result in being sniffed suspiciously or, in extreme cases, being denied a celebratory "welcome" wiggle.
We hope to see your wet nose here soon! If your hoomans have questions, tell them to send us a "Pee-mail" - my staff will jump (they are that well trained)
