The Crown is a lovely hotel with accommodating staff, warm, comfortable rooms, and has a brilliant bar with a fantastic jukebox. The roles of honour for the Common Riding Cornets are amazing artifacts, on display in the bar and entrance areas. There was a bit of renovation going on upstairs, but nothing that got in the way of a memorable stay in the Muckle Toon. I checked out late and didn't get to thank anyone when I left - thank you for a lovely stay!

I like everything about all of my stays here. The place is great The owners Steve and Sam are brilliant, really friendly and very helpful. Yeah some areas might need a little work but this is underway and won't impair your stay in any way. The rooms are fine and very comfortable . The prices are also great. The bar is great and locals are friendly. I stay here fairly regularly and just hope there'll be room for my next visit :)

Very friendly and accommodating staff. It was handy having a traditional welcoming bar. The cooked breakfast set us up for travelling home.

The lack of onsite parking was a bit of a problem as we had some heavy and cumbersome items that could not be legally left in our car overnight. It was bit of tussel getting items up to the room with the stairs and number of Fire Doors.

I stay here for one or two nights, several times a year and love it. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. Rooms are always clean and comfortable and prices are excellent. My only concern with giving a high rating is that there will be no longer be room for me next time I'm around Langholm and they will be full 😂. The owners,Steve and Sam, are great as are the guys and girls who work there. More than happy to recommend... Just leave me a couple of rooms whenever I'm up there 😂👍

Centrally located, nice and tidy, good bar area with friendly staff and locals, freshly cooked breakfast. Lovely town, would recommend.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, great bar and customers. Only tend to stay here for one or two nights but for me it's ideal.
